I am actually looking forward to my retirement. Why? Because I have some savings, I will sell my house and move in Virginia retirement community.
You might ask: WHY? again. It’s simple. I love it there and I love the idea of being close to nature and to ocean. I also like the fact that it is safe and clean environment to live in. It’s much better than living in big city where I live now. I can’t imagine spending my retirement days in big city full of smog. It’s OK to live in the city while your still work and have an active life. But that’s not my plan for retirement. So I am checking out Virginia retirement communities. I will make sure I check out the right one and I will go there for a week or so before I make my actual decision.
It is fascinating to see the dark grey clouds fly by you on a winter evening. The image gets exemplified with a mug of hot chocolate or a cold beer. Rain always leaves a person drenched and amused. It is lovely to get yourself wet in the rain especially when others run for shelter either from some shed, or a garage or maybe even bus stops. The scent of the mud that arises when it is wet makes us long for the country side where we grew up. Though city dwellers have their own nostalgic memories to vouch for, it never is similar to those felt in the country side. Children love rain, be it play school or even high school children for instance. You can never stop them from being fascinated by the rain and getting drenched. It is the elders who fear rain for the want of civility and social sense of well being. There is a small child in everyone which often escapes during such times. The clouds cry out aloud when something good happens underneath them, this causes rain. This explanation would sound ridiculous to everyone, but not the kids. So it is time to bring out the kids within us and enjoy the frolic of nature.
