I have looked into possibility of buying a long-term care insurance. It’s a great option to have is something serious happens to you. Imagine being involved in car crash and being disabled for the rest of your life. It’s a terrible thought but it can happen. You would need someone to take care of you all the time and of course it costs money. You can’t have your family do it since they have their own life and mostly can’t be with you 24/7.
This is where the LTC insurance kicks in. You get yourself insured for such cases and assistance is given to you when you need it. It also is valid for when you are old and disabled. Long term care insurance site shows you where and how to get such an insurance.
I feel this is a great option since you never know what can happen to you. Also when you are old you know you have someone to take care of you and don’t have to worry weather your family will take care of you or not.
I am actually looking forward to my retirement. Why? Because I have some savings, I will sell my house and move in Virginia retirement community.
You might ask: WHY? again. It’s simple. I love it there and I love the idea of being close to nature and to ocean. I also like the fact that it is safe and clean environment to live in. It’s much better than living in big city where I live now. I can’t imagine spending my retirement days in big city full of smog. It’s OK to live in the city while your still work and have an active life. But that’s not my plan for retirement. So I am checking out Virginia retirement communities. I will make sure I check out the right one and I will go there for a week or so before I make my actual decision.
Did you know that just about every website you visit has a privacy policy? It needs to have one if it shows ads or gives you tracking cookies. Also if you sign up and put in your private details. Be sure you read the privacy policy and terms of use. You would be surprised what kind of things can be written in there. Some companies will actually sell your info to third parties and it will be written in privacy policy! Since you didn’t read it and automatically confirm it, you agreed to your data be sold!

Through the SCORE project initiated by the T&P Department of our University we chose a village situated about 14 km from our college, our main objective was to propogate awareness with respect to education and health. We met the village council and had a discussion with the members in their administration block regarding their basic amenities. We then proceeded to the school and spoke to the students about their prospects for higher education and other options. Our objective was to highlight the deficiencies prevalent in the village situated nearby and how to satisfy the requirements. It was also meant for propagating certain basic values to the students of the village. After enquiring about several villages located near the college, we came to learn that this particular village lacked the facilities for Higer Education , proper Healthcare and Transportation. Hence we were automatically attracted towards the village to propagate the awareness in the above fields. We set out speak directly to the members of the village and to create an overall awareness about the facilities which they lack. We mainly concentrated on the facilities like education, health and transportation. A petition had already been filed for obtaining a higher secondary school in this area and we offered to further the cause.
