In my previous blog post I wrote about how real estate crisis is creating opportunities to buy real estate in Texas. What about Hawaii? Mark Twain said “Buy land, they’re not making it anymore”. I agree 100% with him and I am very bullish on real estate with great location (such as near ocean you can swim in or in warm climate). Sure, there is real estate that might never pick up after the crisis, but where the location and climate is good you really can’t go wrong.
That’s why I started to look at Kauai real estate lately. It has all the potential of going up, up, up and the prices are quite reasonable. You need to understand that land by the sea or in warm climate is limited and will always be in demand.
Watching TV you can only listen to talk about recession, how people are loosing jobs and how everyone is poor. Also about how much real estate prices have dropped in last few months.
So if you have the money to invest or just need a new home, NOW IS THE TIME TO BUY. Prices are on multiple year low and this is the time to invest in real estate. Thousands of people loose their homes daily and they drive drove the prices very low. But they do have to live somewhere, so they will probably rent. So now is the time to look at live water hill country properties, make a purchase and rent it out. You can than resell when the prices get back up. Same thing is with homes for sale in the Texas Hill Country. Prices there took a nose dive, you can find great bargains! So Hill Country property are one of the hottest investments at the moment. Remember, bank can always get bankrupt, stocks can loose all of their value, but real estate will always be there and you can get a nice passive income by renting it!
